Team Management

Add team members to your Restore Hub account with granular permissions. Delegate server management without sharing your main credentials.

Overview

Team Management lets you invite other people to help manage your Restore Hub servers. Each team member can be assigned custom permissions — for example, you might give a moderator access to view members and the audit log, but not change security settings or create pulls.

Team Management is available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Roles & Permissions

There is no fixed role system — permissions are configured per team member. You can toggle each permission on or off individually.

| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| View Members | Can view the member list and member detail pages |
| Manage Members | Can kick, blacklist, and assign roles to members |
| View Analytics | Can view analytics and reports |
| Manage Settings | Can change server settings (security, verify page, etc.) |
| Manage Backups | Can create, restore, and delete backups |
| Manage Pulls | Can start and cancel pull jobs |
| Manage Team | Can invite and remove other team members |
| View Audit Log | Can view the audit log |
| Manage Blacklist | Can add and remove blacklist entries |
| Manage Firewall | Can add and remove firewall and whitelist rules |
| Billing Access | Can view billing history and upgrade/downgrade the plan |

Permissions can be scoped to specific servers or apply across all servers on the account.

Inviting a Team Member

  1. Go to dashboard → Team → Invite Member.
  2. Enter the person's email address or Restore Hub username.
  3. Select which servers they should have access to (or "All Servers").
  4. Toggle the permissions you want to grant.
  5. Click Send Invite.

The invited person receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they do not have a Restore Hub account, they can create one during acceptance.

Accepting an Invitation

Click the link in the invitation email, or log in to Restore Hub and go to Settings → Pending Invitations. Click Accept. You will now see the invited servers in your dashboard.

Removing a Team Member

Go to dashboard → Team, find the team member, and click Remove. This immediately revokes all their access.

Activity & Audit Log

All actions taken by team members are recorded in the Audit Log with their identity. You can filter the audit log by actor to review a specific team member's activity.
