Ad Network

Run targeted campaigns to grow your Discord server, or monetize your verification flow by displaying ads to verifying members.

Overview

The Restore Hub Ad Network connects Discord server owners who want to grow their communities (advertisers) with server owners who want to monetize their verification traffic (publishers). Ads are shown as an interstitial step during the verification flow β€” after the member authorizes with OAuth2 but before receiving their role.

For Advertisers β€” Running a Campaign

Campaigns let you reach verified Discord users across hundreds of servers in the Restore Hub network.

Creating a Campaign

  1. Go to dashboard β†’ Ad Network β†’ New Campaign.
  2. Set a campaign name, budget, and daily spend cap.
  3. Choose targeting options:
  • Niche β€” Target by server category (gaming, crypto, NFT, education, etc.)
  • Country β€” Target members from specific countries
  • Device β€” Desktop, mobile, or both
  • Account age β€” Target members with accounts older than N days
  1. Upload your creative:
  • Image β€” 1200Γ—628 recommended, JPG/PNG
  • Title β€” Up to 60 characters
  • Description β€” Up to 120 characters
  • Call to action β€” Button text (e.g., "Join Server", "Learn More")
  • Destination URL β€” Where members are sent when they click
  1. Set your bid (CPM β€” cost per 1,000 impressions, or CPC β€” cost per click).
  2. Submit for review (ads are reviewed within 24 hours).

Billing

Campaigns are billed post-impression. You are charged only for verified impressions (where the member completed verification and saw the ad). Minimum budget is $10. Payments via Stripe or OxaPay.

Campaign Performance

Track impressions, clicks, click-through rate (CTR), and cost per click in the Campaign Analytics dashboard.

For Publishers β€” Monetizing Your Traffic

If your server processes a significant number of verifications, you can opt into the ad network as a publisher and earn revenue for each ad shown during your verification flow.

Enabling Ads

  1. Go to server settings β†’ Ad Network tab.
  2. Toggle "Show Ads During Verification" on.
  3. Set content restrictions (e.g., block adult content, restrict to specific niches).
  4. Choose placement: interstitial (full-screen overlay) or banner (below the verify button).

Payouts

Earnings are based on verified impressions and clicks. Payouts are sent monthly to your Restore Hub balance (minimum $5). You can withdraw via Stripe or crypto.

Ad Controls

As a publisher, you control:

  • Which niches are allowed
  • Minimum bid floor (ads below this CPM are not shown)
  • Whether to show competitor server ads
  • Maximum ad frequency per member (default: once per 7 days per member)
