5. Custom Bots and Discord Applications

  • You are responsible for your own Discord application and bot credentials

  • If Discord suspends, bans, or rate-limits your bot or application, Restore Hub is not liable
  • You must not use custom bots to circumvent Restore Hub plan limits or engage in prohibited activities
  • By registering a bot with Restore Hub and connecting it to Discord servers, you grant Restore Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to access, store, and utilize the OAuth2 tokens, member data, and server information collected through your bot for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and expanding the Restore Hub platform and its services, including but not limited to verification, member pulling, marketplace fulfillment, analytics, advertising, and platform integrity operations. This license persists for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter to complete any pending operations
  • Restore Hub may retain and utilize aggregated, anonymized data derived from your bot's operations indefinitely for platform analytics, fraud prevention, security intelligence, and service improvement purposes

6. Member Data, Collection, and Privacy

By using Restore Hub, you acknowledge and consent to the following data collection and processing practices:

  • Verified members provide consent to data collection through Discord's OAuth2 authorization flow when they click “Authorize” on the Discord consent screen
  • Discord Profile Data: We collect Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, banner, email address, locale, Nitro subscription type, account creation date, MFA status, public flags/badges, and the complete list of servers the member belongs to
  • OAuth2 Tokens: We store encrypted OAuth2 access tokens and refresh tokens for each verified member. These tokens enable member pulling (adding members to servers), marketplace fulfillment, and token health monitoring. Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with per-user derived encryption keys
  • Network & Device Data: During verification, we collect IP addresses (encrypted at rest), country, region, city, ASN, ISP, VPN/proxy/Tor/datacenter detection results, browser user agent, device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, timezone, and connection type
  • Browser Fingerprinting: We generate composite browser fingerprints using canvas rendering, WebGL GPU information, AudioContext waveforms, hardware signals (CPU cores, device memory, GPU vendor/renderer), and browser configuration. These fingerprints are used for alt-account detection across all servers on the platform
  • Linked Accounts (optional): When the connections OAuth2 scope is enabled, we collect the member's linked third-party accounts (Steam, Twitch, YouTube, Spotify, GitHub, etc.) for trust scoring and anti-alt verification
  • Behavioral Intelligence: We build risk profiles for users, IP addresses, and fingerprints across all servers. This includes verification success/failure rates, unique IP/device/fingerprint counts, geographic patterns, and anomaly detection (impossible travel, mass verification, device switching)
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy laws and regulations in your jurisdiction (including GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent) as they relate to the member data processed through your Restore Hub servers
  • You must honor member deletion and data removal requests forwarded through Restore Hub
  • You must not use member data obtained through Restore Hub for purposes outside the scope of Discord server management
  • See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, use, retention periods, and your rights

  • Unused credits remain in your account indefinitely unless the account is terminated

The Service is available in multiple languages. Translated versions of the Service, including this Terms of Service page, the Privacy Policy, and all platform interfaces, are provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity, or conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail and govern.

14. Automated Database Backups

We maintain automated daily backups of platform data for disaster recovery and service continuity purposes. These backups are encrypted at rest, stored securely on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure, and retained for 30 days before being automatically deleted. Automated backups are separate from user-initiated server backups, which are governed by your subscription plan limits.

15. Service Availability

Restore Hub strives for 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses, including lost members, failed pulls, or missed ad revenue, resulting from service interruptions.

16. Limitation of Liability

Restore Hub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Restore Hub and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy (generally within 30 days, with backups purged within 90 days)
  • Termination does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees or credits
  • Sections regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Restore Hub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

19. Data Processing

By using the Service, you acknowledge that Restore Hub processes personal data on your behalf as a data processor.
